Lucille Ball pictures: May 16

It’s been kind of some time since I have uploaded on my WordPress… it was on dearest Elizabeth Montgomery’s birthday so now I’m just compensating showing some pictures that I have found of Lucille Ball.
I was just watching some episodes of The Lucy Show, that is one of the shows that I really appreciate a lot, and I went hunting for some pictures of Lucille and I have found also some pictures of her childhood , that I must say they are so lovely.
So, here they are 😍

I had found a picture of Lucille Ball when she was a child and I just realized that I didn’t save it…. so I’ll just have to go back there and try to find once again.
I’ll try to keep updating as much as possible because lately I am more on Twitter, Tumblr and Google+ and also on Facebook.

I found these pictures some weeks ago and saved them on my phone, but I went “hunting”, for some pictures of Grace Kelly and ended up forgetting about these of Jean.
These pictures, at least for me, are rare because I hadn’t seen them before, so wanted to share them in case other people still hadn’t seen them.
They’ve been added to my folder about Jean, which I plan to keep forever and try to create a wallart with some of them.

Jean Harlow: Mysteries and Scandals

When I first started to gather all the information that I could about Jean Harlow, I wanted not only wikipedia information and articles, but also documentaries, and this was the first one that i got.

There was a time when I’d watch this documentary, at least twice everyday, nowadays I watch, along with the other one I have, presented by Sharon Stone, twice every week, and also saved on my phone, so I can take with me wherever I go.

I am still trying to buy her last movie: Saratoga, an this far have watched Red headed woman and Hell’s angels (Want to watch all her movies), without forget to mention, when she showed up at Oliver and Hardy.

I have a weak spot for documentaries about Old Hollywood, Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe, Charles Chaplin, Clara Bow are some that I currently have on my playlist, but it’s Jean’s that I really watch the most.

Every day that goes by, my wish of visiting her increases even more, sometimes that’s all I can think about, to be able to go there and see her resting place, leave some flowers, to feel like, somehow, part of her story as well, as a fan who went there to pay sincere tributes to her.

That’s going to be one of the most special moments of my entire life, visit Jean, Marilyn and others, recover the chance I had and didn’t take advantage of because, by that time I wasn’t so interested on Old Hollywood as I am now, and didn’t take advantage like I should have taken.

Lucille Ball Art

This drawings of Lucille marks a new phase for my drawings.

I stopped working on paper, and started working them on my tablet.

I believed that’s going to be better and easier for me work on tablet than on paper, also because on the tablet i have more options for painting, and it’s easier to work on the shadows and etc, that i cannot still on paper.

It’s not realistic yet, but I must confess that i enjoyed more working on the tablet than i usually did on paper, so I am happy with the result, and I am sure that it won’t take too long for me to reach the level that i want, and i’m not going to drop the drawing on paper, because I do want to upgrade myself there as well.

I was watching “I love Lucy” few hours ago and got inspired on working on an art for her.

Ended up making her look too pale 😦

How can we not love Lucy? ❤

Happy Birthday, Lillian Gish

After some time without posting due to some issues I sadly had related to this platform, I am happy that today, I am getting to post again, specially today, that’s the birthday of my favorite Old Hollywood actress: Lillian Gish.

October is also my favorite month, so the fact she was born in October is really special for me.

All I can say is: Happy Birthday, Lillian ❤

You are still one of the most important inspirations that I have.
